The long-awaited third season of One-Punch Man has been underway for quite some time now, with JC Staff stepping up to replace Studio Madhouse from the previous season. Excitingly, this fall will see the return of this action-packed anime series. To build anticipation among fans, sneak peeks have been released for Saitama’s grand comeback. As we saw in the season two finale, the conflict against the Monster Association is far from over, and the latest preview confirms it. While our “Hero For Fun” faced some unusual enemies during the second season, it seems that things are getting even more bizarre in the upcoming third season.
In the upcoming season three of “One-Punch Man”, two fresh monsters join the scene: Nyaan and Overgrown Pochi, which appear to be grotesque representations of a cat and a dog respectively. More details about these charmingly peculiar creatures from the Monster Association have been shared on the official anime website. “This month’s third and fourth episodes introduce Nyann, voiced by Ryosuke Shirakawa who also works on character design, and Overgrown Pochi, designed by Shinjiro Kuroda, our resident character designer.” Despite their peculiarities, it seems unlikely that they will withstand a single punch from the invincible Saitama.
What Will One-Punch Man Season Three Tackle?
Previously, it was noted that the third season of Saitama’s anime will pick up where we left off with the Hero Association versus Monster Association conflict. The second season finale saw the subterranean creatures gaining a significant edge. Garou, the villain who targets heroes, has chosen to ally himself with the monsters, aiming to amass enough power to defeat all heroes collectively. After incurring heavy losses during the previous season, Garou will need rigorous training if he intends to challenge One-Punch Man in a one-on-one battle. Fans of the manga are anticipating intense confrontations between both heroes and monsters.
It’s not yet definite, but it seems likely that a fourth season would carry on the struggle between the two groups, with Saitama and Garou set to clash. Given the lengthy gap between seasons 2 and 3, we can only hope that the time between seasons 3 and 4 will be significantly reduced. Fortunately, the manga and webcomic based on One-Punch Man are still thriving.
One-Punch Man’s Manga Controversy
Indeed, lately, “One-Punch Man” has been generating buzz for an unusual reason. Artist Yusuke Murata has been reworking several scenes from the manga, aiming to add more detail and ensure they are flawless. While some readers aren’t overly enthused when these revamps occur, they do underscore Murata’s commitment to perfectionism in the world of manga.
