Instead of propping handheld devices on improvised supports, it offers more stability and convenience to have a built-in kickstand.

Indeed, there are protective handheld covers that come with kickstands as well, like the dBrand Killswitch priced at $49.95. While these add-ons can be useful, it would be more convenient if most handheld devices came equipped with a built-in stand, eliminating the need to purchase an additional accessory for this purpose.

Elevating these gadgets with kickstands turns them into versatile tools for both work and play, not just gaming devices.

When it comes to gaming, I usually rely on the Steam Deck and ROG Ally X. However, when I need something for entertainment or help, I tend to reach for the Lenovo Legion Go, thanks to its spacious screen and built-in kickstand.

Handheld devices for PC gaming could serve as viable alternatives to laptops for professional, academic, or personal tasks, given that they can be equipped with a mouse and keyboard.

On occasion, during my journeys, I’ve composed articles directly on my Legion Go laptop (standing securely on its kickstand). By the way, I’m quite fond of the wireless keyboard I purchased from Amazon, as it eliminates the need for a mouse and its collapsible design is perfect for traveling.

While accessories with kickstands are available, it’s always nicer when the necessary features are integrated without requiring additional spending.
