As a longtime fan of the Orcs Must Die series, I can hardly contain my excitement as we approach the release date for Orcs Must Die! Deathtrap. Having spent countless hours defending towers and fending off hordes of orcish enemies, it’s safe to say that this game has been a staple in my gaming life.
Midway through this year, Robot Entertainment unveiled “Orcs Must Die! Deathtrap,” the next chapter in their tower defense series. Back then, they mentioned it would drop sometime early in 2025. Now, they’ve pinned down a precise release date, and it seems we won’t have to wait too long before jumping back into the action!
Orcs Must DIe! Deathtrap will launch on January 28, Robot Entertainment has announced with a new gameplay trailer, which you can check out below. The trailer also showcases new gameplay footage, plenty of which shows familiar tower defense action that fans of the series will recognize. Meanwhile, new features such as War Mages, new roguelike progression mechanics, and more. You can check out the trailer below.
Starting next month, the game “Orcs Must Die! Deathtrap” will be playable on both Xbox Series X/S and PC platforms. At this point, it’s uncertain when (or if) the PlayStation 5 version will be released, as Robot Entertainment has not made any official announcements about it yet.
