Original Resident Evil 3 is Releasing for GOG on September 25

As a seasoned fan of the Resident Evil series, I can hardly contain my excitement! After years of waiting and countless playthroughs on outdated systems, it feels like Christmas has come early. The original Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, a game that has haunted my dreams since its release, is finally making its way back to modern platforms.

Capcom has been consistently putting out fresh Resident Evil games with speed, yet they haven’t forgotten about the earlier titles in the series. Previously hard to find on modern devices, this year saw the arrival of the original Resident Evil on GOG, swiftly followed by the initial version of Resident Evil 2.

Starting today, it’s been confirmed that the remake of “Resident Evil 3” will also be following its release on other platforms. GOG has officially announced via Twitter that the game will become available for purchase on September 25th. If you’re interested, you can add it to your wishlist right now. On GOG, players can look forward to enhanced graphics, full compatibility with modern controllers, and various quality-of-life improvements in this remake of the survival horror classic.

In simple terms, it’s confirmed that the original Resident Evil trilogy will become accessible to current gamers by the end of this week, which fans have long been anticipating. However, whether Capcom intends to re-release other classic games in the future is yet to be determined.
