As a seasoned adventurer and traveler, I can confidently say that Ororon is one of the most intriguing characters I’ve encountered in my extensive journey through Teyvat. His unique abilities and versatile playstyle make him an exciting addition to any team composition.
In simpler terms, Ororon is a DPS character who doesn’t fight directly but uses his abilities off-field. He specializes in Electro attacks and can amplify damage from his teammates’ Nightsoul-aligned attacks.
Skills Overview
Normal Attack: Spiritvessel Snapshot
Normal AttackPerforms up to 3 consecutive shots with a bow.
Executes a more focused Arrow Shot that deals extra Electro damage. As you focus, electro energy builds up on the arrow tip. When fully charged, the arrow unleashes massive Electro damage.
Soaring Arrow Assault: Unleashes a rain of arrows while airborne, then lands to create an area of damage upon impact.
Elemental Skill: Night’s Sling
In the battle, Ororon unleashes an enigmatic ball of midnight hue, known as a Midnight Spirit Sphere, and hurls it at his adversary, causing damage aligned with Night-Soul Electro.

Elemental Burst: Dark Voices Echo
In this scenario, Ororon performs an old ritual, unleashing Area of Effect (AoE) Electro damage aligned with Nightsoul. This summoning process brings about a powerful Supersonic Oculus.
As a diehard fan, I’m always stirring up trouble with my rivals, luring them in with my supersonic whirl! My Oculus continuously spins, unleashing waves of Nightsoul-linked Electro damage their way.

Ascension 1: Nightshade Synesthesia
Following the activation of a comrade’s Nightsoul Burst, Ororon accumulates 40 Nightsoul energy points. Within 15 seconds after using his Elemental Skill, each time Hydro or Electro attacks from other party members strike enemies, Ororon collects an additional 5 Nightsoul points at intervals of approximately 0.3 seconds, with a maximum of 10 collections during this period. The total Nightsoul points Ororon can possess is capped at 80.
Ascension 4: Aspect Catalyst
As a devoted fan, I’d express it like this: “Once Night’s Sling’s Spirit Orb strikes an adversary, I temporarily gain the Aspect Sigil effect for 15 seconds. With this active, whenever a teammate nearby lands Normal, Charged, or Plunging Attacks on an enemy, they regain 3 Energy. Even if I’m not in the field, I still benefit by restoring 3 Energy! This beneficial effect can activate once every second, and it can trigger up to three times during its duration.
Night Realm’s Gift Passive: Flowing Fog, Spritely Shadows
In the region of Natlan where Phlogiston Mechanics apply, he can activate his ability called “Nightsoul Leap: Ororon“. When the character is airborne and switches to Ororon, this will occur: Ororon jumps upwards. The Nightsoul Leap: Ororon skill can be activated by your team members once every 10 seconds.
Keeping Aiming Mode activated will lead Ororon into a special state known as “Spiritspeaker,” where he can communicate with “Nightspirit Graffiti” and “Nightspirit Sigils.” During this state, he can gather data and draw power from these entities. The way he interacts with these items follows the same guidelines as those used for Iktomisaurus interactions.
Furthermore, pressing and holding the jump key will make Ororon use 75 Stamina points for a powerful leap. In regions with Phlogiston properties, Ororon will instead opt to utilize 5 units of Phlogiston to jump even higher. While airborne, Ororon can hold down his regular attack button to consume either Phlogiston or Stamina and enter the Aiming State.
Passive Talent: The Art of Skinchanging
Boosts the sliding Speed-Power Density (SPD) of your teammates by 15% non-cumulatively, as it does not combine with other passive abilities offering identical effects.
TLDR / Rotation
Ororon primarily specializes in dishing out damage from afar with his Elemental Burst. Apart from the Burst, his A1 skill can inflict off-field damage whenever an enemy receives Electro-Charged damage or when the active character delivers Nightsoul-aligned damage, with a cooldown of 1.8 seconds.

Trail Through the Forest Mist: The Spirit Orb of Night’s Sling’s Elemental Skill can bounce an extra 2 times. After striking an opponent, it inflicts the Nighttide effect for 12 seconds. Enemies under Nighttide take 50% more damage from Hypersense triggered by the Passive Talent “Nightshade Synesthesia.” Activate this talent to initiate the effect.

1) Polar Star (ATK: 608 • CRIT Rate 33.1%)
Here’s a simpler way to explain it:
2) The First Great Magic (ATK: 608 • CRIT DMG 66.2%)
The damage inflicted by Charged Attacks increases between 16% and 32%.
Note: Ranking assumes 2 stacks. At 1 stack, it performs similarly to Hunter’s Path.
3) Thundering Pulse (ATK: 608 • CRIT DMG 66.2%)
Increases ATK by 20~40% and grants the might of the Thunder Emblem. At stack levels 1/2/3, the Thunder Emblem increases Normal Attack DMG by 12/24/40~24/48/80%. The character will obtain 1 stack of Thunder Emblem in each of the following scenarios: Normal Attack deals DMG (stack lasts 5s), casting Elemental Skill (stack lasts 10s); Energy is less than 100% (stack disappears when Energy is full). Each stack’s duration is calculated independently.
4) Astral Vulture’s Crimson Plumage (ATK: 608 • CRIT DMG 66.2%)
After activating a Swirl event, the attack power (ATK) boosts between 24% and 48% for 12 seconds. Furthermore, if half or more of the party members have an Elemental Type different from the character wielding the equipment, the damage increase of their Charged Attacks ranges from 20% to 48%, and their Elemental Burst damage increases by 10% to 48%.
5) Chain Breaker (ATK: 565 • ATK 27.6%)
As a gamer, I’d rephrase it like this: Whenever I’m in a party with a Natlan member or someone with a different Elemental Type compared to me, my Attack power increases by 4.8% to 9.6%. If there are at least three such characters in the party, my Elemental Mastery boosts significantly, ranging from 24% to 48%.
Note: Ranking assumes 3 stacks.
6) Alley Hunter (ATK: 565 • ATK 27.6%)
While the character equipped with this weapon is in the party but not on the field, their DMG increases by 2~4% every second up to a max of 20~40%. When the character is on the field for more than 4s, the aforementioned DMG buff decreases by 4~8% per second until it reaches 0%.
7) Range Gauge (ATK: 565 • ATK 27.6%)
When a user regenerates health or heals others, they acquire Unity’s Emblem for 30 seconds, with a maximum of 3 emblems at a time. When using their Elemental Ability or Ultimate, all emblems are used and the Struggle effect is activated for 10 seconds. For each emblem consumed, there is an increase in Attack by 3% to 7% and All Elemental Damage Bonus by 7% to 13%. The Struggle effect can be initiated once every 15 seconds, and emblems can still be earned even when the character is off the battlefield.
Reminder: This weapon’s performance is considerably reduced if it doesn’t have a skilled healer to keep 3 stacks active. At rank 5 ([R5]), it performs comparably to the Thundering Pulse.
8) Elegy for the End (ATK: 608 • Energy Recharge 55.1%)
This weapon boosts your Elemental Mastery by between 60 and 120 when it’s your character who lands Elemental Skills or Bursts on opponents, granting a Sigil of Remembrance each time. You can earn one Sigil every 0.2 seconds, even if your character isn’t actively in the game.
Note: This weapon provide more team utility in exchange for Ororon’s personal damage.
9) Favonius Warbow (ATK: 454 • Energy Recharge 61.3%)
CRIT successes often produce a modest number of Elemental Fragments, restoring 6 Energy points to the character. However, this can happen only once every 12 to 6 seconds.
Note: This weapon provide more team utility in exchange for Ororon’s personal damage.

1) Scroll of the Hero of Cinder City (4)
1 Piece: When a teammate within range activates a Nightsoul Burst, the character wearing this equipment restores 6 units of Elemental Energy.
Remark: Although Ororon primarily excels as an off-field damage dealer, he harmonizes superbly with Scroll of the Hero of Cinder City (4), a crucial factor in enhancing his team through synergistic effects.
