As Aqua stepped onto the stage of Tokyo Blade’s play to uncover details about his enigmatic father, he stumbled upon a shocking revelation: he and Taiki Himekawa were in fact half-brothers, born to the same man. In the last episode, it was revealed that their shared father had perished due to the murder-suicide of Taiki’s mother. For the first time in his life, Aqua is now navigating his path without a clear target for his vengeance.

Since the tragic death of his mother and role model, Ai Hoshino, Aqua had been driven by a desire to locate and avenge his father. However, upon learning that his father was already deceased, Aqua finds himself at a crossroads. This internal struggle is portrayed in the anime through the dimming of the star within his eye. As he seeks a new purpose, Aqua intends to share this revelation with Akane. Yet, while Aqua’s personal quest holds significance, it doesn’t define the main narrative of this arc.
Now, Ruby, Kana, and Memecho are readying themselves for a show in Ruby and Aqua’s old residence, a place significant before their demises. In the last episode, it was unveiled that Ruby remains troubled by the doctor she once adored who passed away. Unaware that Aqua had been with her all along, Ruby formed the group name B-Komachi to try and attract the attention of this beloved doctor. However, he’s been absent, and now Ruby is treading a somber path in search of a significant revelation about herself.
