Oshi no Ko Season 2 Readies for Finale With New Episode Preview

As a devoted fan of Oshi no Ko, I must say that Season 2 has been nothing short of breathtaking! The latest preview for Episode 12 has got me all worked up, and I can hardly contain my excitement. Aqua’s life is about to take a drastic turn as he returns to Miyazaki after over a decade, a place filled with memories of his past life as Goro.

The anime “Oshi no Ko” is nearing its conclusion in Season 2, and fans have been given a sneak peek at what lies ahead in Episode 12. Currently, “Oshi no Ko” finds itself at a crossroads as Aqua is now contemplating a new path for his life, having discovered that the man he’s been pursuing appears to be deceased. With the Tokyo Blade stage play behind him, Aqua will be returning to Miyazaki alongside Ruby and the members of the newly formed B-Komachi group.

The second season of “Oshi no Ko” has begun its climactic final stretch, dedicating its remaining episodes to delve deeper into the story of Ruby. Similar to the conclusion of the first season, these episodes are providing a closer look at Ruby and B-Komachi as they ready themselves for a new act. However, unlike the previous season, a foreboding shadow hangs over the narrative as Ruby and Aqua return to Miyazaki for the first time since their demise. This added layer of mystery is further heightened by a sneak peek at “Oshi no Ko” Season 2 Episode 12, which you can view below.

How to Watch Oshi no Ko Season 2 Episode 12

If you wanted to tune into the upcoming episode, Oshi no Ko Season 2 Episode 12 will finally be making its premiere in Japan on September 25th, and will be exclusively streaming with HIDIVE for outside territories. As for the episode itself, it’s titled “Reunion” and teased as such, “Aqua visits Miyazaki for the first time in over a decade, the place where Goro and Sarina once lived and where Aqua and Ruby were born, and follows Goro’s tracks. Meanwhile, Ruby keeps her feelings for Goro hidden in her heart…” As the season ends, there’s going to be a major pivot to keep an eye out for.

In the first half of “Oshi no Ko” Season 2, Aqua embarked on a journey joining the Tokyo Blade stage play to uncover clues about his absent father. However, when the season concluded, he found out that he had an unknown half-brother in fellow actor Taiki Himekawa. This revelation also seemed to indicate that their shared father met a tragic end through a murder-suicide incident. Now, Aqua is at a loss as he’s spent his reincarnated life working in the entertainment industry, hoping for a chance to avenge his father someday.

What’s Next for Ruby?

While he ponders his next move, largely due to the fact his father is still alive in his belief, Ruby is undergoing a significant change too. She has been eagerly anticipating reuniting with B-Komachi once more as Kana finished her run on the Tokyo Blade stage play. Now that this is over, they are bound for Miyazaki for their next venture. This location holds special significance for Ruby because it’s where she believes her life as Sarina concluded. Unbeknownst to her, her beloved doctor, Goro, had also passed away on the same evening.

In her quest to catch his eye, she created a fresh version of B-Komachi. For days on end, she’d been troubled by his absence. As she returns to Miyazaki, she’s heading straight towards this unsettling truth, and it seems destined to leave an indelible mark on her before the season concludes.
