To begin your event mission, make your way to the charming town of Falador. There, locate Cecilia in the park, she’s easily identifiable as she stands on a bridge overlooking some ducks. If you’re familiar with clue scrolls, she’s the one who frequently requests music from you.
Speak with her, and she’ll share her concerns regarding the dogs damaging the decorations. This conversation kicks off the “A Dog Isn’t Just for Christmas” mini-adventure or event.
She’ll tell you to make your way to “Party Pete,” located at the northeastern corner of Falador, specifically in the party room. There, discuss with him about the rehoming event that Cecilia is organizing. Following a short conversation with him, you will then need to return to Cecilia to set things in motion.
Following her discovery that the party room is ready and adorned, she will pass you a stack of invitations for you to distribute among the specified characters.

- Sarah – She can be found at the farm south of Falador, just across the road from Port Sarim.
- Charlie the Tramp – This is the beggar right outside the sword shop in Varrock, who you probably recognize from Shield of Arrav depending on your gang choice.
- Gertrude Fairweather – She is found at her house just south of Juliet’s home to the west of Varrock.
After distributing all the invites, your character will announce it’s time to rejoin the gathering in Falador. Fortunately, the game provides a convenient teleport option for you to make use of if you wish to go there instantly. If you missed the prompt or chose not to accept the offer, simply find your own way back there instead.
Stepping into the party room, I find myself right in the midst of a fascinating dilemma – every guest here is unsure about the perfect canine companion for them.
