The TV series “Outlander” is preparing for its final chapter in its eighth season, which completed filming last month. As previously speculated, the show’s creator, Davis, has confirmed that the television adaptation will deviate from the original storyline by Diana Gabaldon when it comes to the ending.
The author, now working on her tenth novel (possibly her last in the Outlander series), expressed that she’s “not displeased” by the TV show straying from her original work.
Gabaldon clarified at the New York Comic Con panel that, since it turned out well and should fit seamlessly into the program, he managed to remain impartial about it.
She mentioned: “There are numerous unexpected events, rollercoaster moments, and pure craziness experienced by our characters.
I believe we’ve raised the stakes even higher for the second half. I’m absolutely thrilled!
