Overwatch 2 Reveals Juno as Next Hero

Overwatch 2 Reveals Juno as Next Hero

As a long-time fan of the Overwatch franchise, I couldn’t contain my excitement when Blizzard announced that Juno, the newest hero in Overwatch 2, would be getting a testing phase before Season 12’s official release. Having played many hours of Overwatch over the years, I’ve grown accustomed to the unique abilities and playstyles of each character. And based on Juno’s reveal trailer and ability descriptions, she looks like a welcome addition to the roster.

As a dedicated gamer with years of experience in the world of Overwatch, I can hardly contain my excitement for the upcoming Season 12 launch on August 20th! But hold on to your seats, fellow fans, Blizzard Entertainment has just dropped an unexpected bombshell. Introducing Juno, the fresh new hero joining our beloved roster! Not only have we been given a sneak peek into her abilities through her big reveal, but we’ll even get the chance to test her out for ourselves during a special weekend event from July 19th to July 21st.

As a gamer, I’m excitedly watching the reveal trailer above, where Juno makes her grand entrance into Overwatch 2 from her home planet Mars. While Blizzard will surely weave an intriguing backstory for this character, the initial focus in the trailer is on Juno’s abilities. My favorite among them is her Mediblaster – a burst-fire weapon that not only damages enemies but also heals my teammates. If I’m someone who enjoys supporting my squad with healing, then Juno seems like an excellent addition to my roster in Overwatch 2.

Her secondary ability is her Pulsar Torpedoes which lock onto a target with homing projectiles. Like her Mediblaster, these will heal allies and damage opponents, giving you a second way to help out a bud or take down a foe. Juno’s Ultimate is the Orbital Ray which heals allies and increases their damage for a set amount of time. Using this, Juno players can quickly turn the tide of a fight in their team’s favor, even if things are looking dire

Juno has two distinctive skills: Glide Boost and Hyper Ring. Using her boost, Juno can effortlessly glide horizontally at a faster pace. The Hyper Ring is another skill that enables her to place a big ring on the ground. Whenever an ally steps onto the ring, their speed gets enhanced. Lastly, Juno’s passive ability is called Martian Overboots. This trait grants her the capability to double jump and hover in mid-air, providing a potent means of escaping potentially dangerous situations.

In summary, Juno appears both visually and audibly exciting to use, particularly for healers in Overwatch 2. A testing period for Juno will run from July 19th to July 21st. Afterwards, Season 12 is scheduled for release on August 20th. Overwatch 2 can be enjoyed on PlayStation, Switch, Xbox, and PC platforms at present.
