As a seasoned Overwatch 2 player with countless hours under my belt, I can’t help but feel a thrill of anticipation as Season 14: Hazard approaches! With my fingers poised over the keyboard and eyes glued to the Norse-themed trailer, I find myself yearning for the day when Thor Reinhardt graces the battlefield once more.
Tomorrow sees the arrival of Marvel Rivals, however Overwatch 2 from Blizzard Entertainment continues undeterred. The unveiling of Season 14 has been confirmed, named after its newest character – Hazard. Take a look at the fresh new trailer before the season’s debut on December 10th.
As a gamer, I’m pumped about this Norse-themed season! It means we’re getting some epic skins inspired by Thor for Reinhardt – both shirtless and fully armored versions. Other heroes like Lifeweaver, Sigma, and Junker Queen are also getting their own mythic makeovers in the battle pass. However, if you want to get your hands on skins for Sombra, Mercy, Mauga, and more, you’ll have to part with some real-world cash.
From my gaming perspective, I’m all about Hazard – a tanky character who masterfully blends brawling and dodging, erecting defensive barriers to absorb damage and gain access to higher ground. He’s got the agility to lunge at opponents, shielding himself from harm to retaliate with explosive counterattacks. And let’s not forget his ultimate move: a shower of razor-sharp shards that ensnares foes. I can hardly wait to see how he meshes with other Tanks, especially with the upcoming 6v6 experimental game modes!
In the gaming world, Overwatch 2 joins the fray with balance adjustments reminiscent of when Mercy underwent her rework, dominating gameplay much like a moth to a flame.
