A new spin-off game from the Pac-Man series, titled “Shadow Labyrinth,” which features an entirely distinct style, has finally revealed its launch date through a fresh trailer.
The side-scrolling Metroidvania will arrive on PS5 on 18th July, 2025.
In a grimy, futuristic landscape, your protagonist journeys alongside an enigmatic entity known as Puck – a glowing orb, driven by its unique purpose.
At certain points in the game you will switch control to Puck in order to traverse environments.
In addition, you’ll gain the ability to fuse with Puck and transform into a colossal mech. This transformation allows you to engage in combat against larger adversaries. Furthermore, defeating enemies enables you to absorb them, which appears to grant special abilities that can be used to upgrade your character.

It seems quite promising, as it presents a unique perspective on Bandai Namco’s cherished mascot character.
