Paddington is on the cover of this week’s Radio Times family film special

As a movie buff with over three decades of film-watching under my belt, I can confidently say that Paddington and his adventures are a breath of fresh air in the world of family films. Having watched the first two installments multiple times with my own children, I can attest to their charm, wit, and ability to appeal to both kids and adults alike. The third film, Paddington in Peru, is set to hit cinemas on November 8th, and I for one cannot wait!

Regardless if you’ve recently experienced a break or it’s approaching, the issue of keeping children or grandchildren occupied during autumn and winter isn’t usually far from mind. Finding a movie that appeals to all family members can sometimes be challenging. It should contain elements that enchant the young ones, have funny moments for adults, and maintain an engaging pace.

Don’t be afraid – Here comes Paddington to the rescue! Paddington and its sequel have set a new standard for “family movies,” and starting on November 8th, you can catch the latest installment, Paddington in Peru, at your local cinema.

The movies exude a slightly disorganized, yet endearing British flair throughout them. When asked Ben Whishaw, who lends his voice to Paddington, about how he brings the Peruvian bear to life, he humorously confesses, “I’m completely clueless about it”. There’s a certain comfort in that honesty.
