Everybody Still Hates Chris Premiere Date Announced With First Look

15 years since “Everybody Hates Chris,” the sitcom based on Chris Rock’s childhood, concluded its four-season stint on The CW, Comedy Central has announced that an adult animated series – a revival of Chris Rock-narrated “Everybody Hates Chris” featuring Tyler James Williams in the lead role – will debut on September 25th at 10pm ET/PT. Rock is serving as executive producer and will voice “Adult Chris,” who narrates the story of his teenage self, voiced by Tim Johnson Jr. from “Saturday” and “Fright Krewe,” taking over Williams’ role, as he recounts growing up as a skinny nerd in a working-class family in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn during the late 1980s.
