2024’s Gamescom convention has begun, offering a rich assortment of updates and previews for multiple games. Among these, Monster Hunter Wilds, the latest installment in Capcom’s Monster Hunter series, received a new trailer during the Opening Night Live event.

Using his reliable journal as a guide, renowned explorer and archaeologist Indiana Jones discovers his next hint near the colossal Great Sphinx of Giza. With calculated precision, he swiftly subdues a patrolling guard using a snap of his trustworthy whip, then readies himself to face another’s punch. A short yet intense boxing match ensues, ending with Indy overpowering his adversary and tossing him off the edge. A third guard appears, but is swiftly dealt with thanks to a well-aimed shot from Indiana Jones’ revolver.
At the opening event of Gamescom 2024, it was announced during ustwo games’ (Alba: A Wildlife Collection) presentation that Monument Valley 3 will be available on Netflix Games. The official launch date for this highly anticipated game is set for December 10th, 2024.

At Gamescom Opening Night Live, Firaxis Games unveiled the initial gameplay footage of what appears to be Sid Meier’s Civilization 7. As previously speculated, this upcoming title is slated for release on February 11th, 2025, and will be available on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, Xbox One, PS4, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
