As a lifelong fan of Edgar Allan Poe’s dark and mysterious tales, I eagerly await the reboot of “The Crow” this summer. The new clip from the film is a brutal reminder that this isn’t your typical superhero movie – it’s a gritty, violent retelling of a classic story that will surely leave me on the edge of my seat. With its intense action and haunting atmosphere, I have no doubt that this film will transport me back to the dark alleys and eerie settings of Poe’s original works, making for a truly immersive cinematic experience.

For over two decades, JK Simmons has consistently brought the character J. Jonah Jameson, a fictional media mogul, to life in various Marvel films, starting with Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man and most recently in Spider-Man: No Way Home. This role stands out among Simmons’ career highlights, as he recounts in an interview with GQ. Interestingly, co-creator of Spider-Man, Stan Lee, admitted to Simmons that he regretted not being offered the part himself, but was pleased with how Simmons portrayed the character.

The action-packed return of “Samurai Deadpool” is here, and this time around, he’s taken out a significant Marvel character to set the stage. Previously, the first two volumes of “Samurai Deadpool” concluded a few years ago, where Deadpool led an elite group of fresh heroes in Japan, known as the Avengers Samurai Squad. Together, they vanquished formidable villains, but when it ended, everyone went their separate ways. Now, “Samurai Deadpool” is back for another installment in the manga, and the story begins with a bang – a major death as Deadpool re-enters Japan.

When “Daredevil” debuted in 2014, it presented a markedly different tone compared to previous Marvel productions. Typically, shows and movies bearing the Marvel logo were aimed at attracting the broadest audience. However, “Daredevil” offered fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe a grittier side of the franchise, incorporating mature themes and intense violence. Now, actor Vincent D’Onofrio, who plays the lead role in “Daredevil: Born Again,” suggests that the forthcoming sequel takes this darkness a step further.

Although there might not be an immediate successor to the acclaimed game “Alien: Isolation” on the horizon (as far as we’re aware), fans of the IP can expect their horror gaming cravings to be satisfied soon in some manner. The single-player first-person action horror title, “Alien: Rogue Incursion,” which was announced earlier this year, now has a confirmed release date.
