Turns out it’s the delightful adventures of Cloud Puppy by Kelly Leigh Miller, and the adorable half puppy half cloud lead is likely to become a favorite of yours as well once you get to know her. The story brings a host of other charming characters into the fold as well, including Cloud’s friend Berry Rose, and the duo is actually the focus of the first story, which puts a spotlight on what it means to be friends who want to dress as the same character at a convention. ComicBook had a chance to speak with Miller all about the new story, what and who inspired the character, and what the future might hold for the series.

SNES Series From the 90s Making a Comeback in 2025

In the year 2025, there’s an unexpected resurgence of a classic video game series from the 1990s, specifically Tokyo Xtreme Racer which first appeared in 1994. This was a time when console gaming was relatively new and not as widespread. Games like Final Fantasy VI, Donkey Kong Country, Super Metroid, DOOM II, Daytona USA, Tekken, Sonic the Hedgehog 3, X-COM: UFO Defense, NBA Jam, Ace Driver, Earthworm Jim, and others were also released that year. Interestingly, many Japanese games didn’t reach Europe and North America back then, and Tokyo Xtreme Racer was one of them. Despite its popularity in Japan, it didn’t make a significant impact in the west. The series went dormant in 2006, but there were only two mobile releases in 2011 and 2017 to break the silence. However, starting from 2025, this is changing.
