Nosferatu Extended Cut Confirmed by Robert Eggers (Including Footage Only Seen in Trailer)
As a cinephile immersed in the world of chilling tales, I’m thrilled to share that the extended version of the timeless horror masterpiece, “Nosferatu,” is finally making its way onto Blu-ray and DVD. Clocking in at an enthralling 2 hours and 13 minutes, this gothic remake from director Robert Eggers, a follow-up to his 1922 silent film namesake, ranks as his second-longest work (slightly overshadowed by 2022’s “The Northman” at 2 hours and 17 minutes). Compared to his earlier creations like the 2015 classic, “The Witch,” which ran for just an hour and 32 minutes, or “The Lighthouse” in 2019 that lasted an hour and 49 minutes, this extended cut of “Nosferatu” promises a more immersive, spine-tingling experience.
