At this year’s D23 event, which honors all things Disney from theme parks to live-action, animation, music, and more, there was a flavor for everyone to enjoy. On the cinematic front, this year’s D23 showcased sneak peeks of upcoming Disney movies such as “Zootopia 2,” the live-action version of “Lilo & Stitch,” and an update on the sequel to “Freaky Friday” starring Lindsey Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis. The atmosphere got a bit unconventional.

As a devoted fan of “The Simpsons” since its inception back in 1989, I am thrilled to hear that they will be releasing a new Christmas special exclusively on Disney+ later this year. Growing up with this iconic animated sitcom has been an integral part of my life, and it holds a special place in my heart as one of the most memorable shows of my childhood. The series’ unique blend of humor, social commentary, and heartfelt moments never fails to entertain me, and I eagerly await each new episode with anticipation.

It seems a recent update on Mortal Kombat 1 might hint at additional DLC characters coming in a potential third Kombat Pack. At present, NetherRealm Studios is developing Kombat Pack 2 for MK1, featuring Noob Saibot, Cyrax, Sektor, along with guest fighters like Ghostface, Conan the Barbarian, and the T-1000 Terminator. Furthermore, a story-oriented expansion titled Khaos Reigns is underway, but it’s unclear if any more DLC beyond this lineup is being considered. However, if the recent update for MK1 is anything to go by, NetherRealm might be setting up additional characters to join the game later on.
