So, they dropped the Mystic UA in 2026, and it’s pretty cool! It gives us four new subclass options – one for the Monk, Paladin, Rogue, and Warlock. What’s different this time is that none of these subclasses were based on existing stuff – they’re all totally new ideas focused on messing with how magic works. As a Rogue, I can now literally steal spells from enemy spellcasters, which is awesome. Paladins get to shut down enemy casters and boost our own magic users. And the Monk? They’ve got abilities related to magic that we’ve never seen before. It really changes things up!

A live-action movie adaptation of Blue Lock is coming to Japanese theaters on August 7th. To mark the release date announcement, and after recently revealing the cast, the first trailer for the film has been released and can be viewed below.

The latest episode of Star Trek: Starfleet Academy, titled “Series Acclimation Mil” and co-written by Kirsten Beyer (a Star Trek novelist and producer) and Tawny Newsome (the voice of Beckett Mariner on Star Trek: Lower Decks), revisited a character who made significant commitments before leaving the show—commitments he apparently couldn’t fully fulfill. Newsome explained to TrekMovie why they decided against bringing back Benjamin Sisko from his role as Emissary to the Prophets, even though he promised his fiancée, Kassidy, that he would return.
