Family Guy is currently producing Season 23, and Fox unveiled a sneak peek of upcoming episodes during the San Diego Comic-Con 2024. This comes as the show marks its 25th anniversary with Fox, which led to some schedule adjustments. Unlike in the past two decades, Family Guy will not return for Season 23 this fall but instead is set to air in 2025.
At San Diego Comic-Con on Friday evening, there was a Mortal Kombat 1 panel labeled “Mortal Kombat 1: MORE Kombat!” where the upcoming expansion, Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns, was announced. This downloadable content is sure to bring chaos to the game when it’s released, as is common with DLC. Players can look forward to new storylines and the chance to acquire some fresh characters, both licensed and familiar, for their fighter roster. As an excited fan at San Diego Comic-Con, I was unfortunately asked to leave HBO’s The Penguin’s Iceberg Lounge installation due to a fire. Although information is limited, Deadline reports that those inside the Bloom Nightclub setup were instructed to evacuate and upon exiting, found multiple fire trucks and police waiting outside. Two ladders even reached the rooftop bar location. Videos from the scene depict firetrucks obstructing the road and policemen trying to clear the pathway. My thoughts are with everyone involved and I hope we all made it out safely.
The surprise comeback of “Clone High” on Max after a long hiatus following its initial run on MTV has come to an end. The classic animated series introduced a new chapter with two fresh seasons, continuing the storyline from the original cliffhanger and offering new adventures. However, since the release of the third season (the second for the revival), there has been no news about the show’s future.
On the latest episode of SmackDown, ex-WWE Tag Team Champions A-Town Down Under, comprised of Austin Theory and Grayson Waller, showed confidence as they confronted professional boxer Terence Crawford. Previously, Crawford had assisted Cody Rhodes in beating up A-Town Down Under by giving him a steel chair. Theory and Waller were eager for explanations from the athlete regarding his involvement with Rhodes. As Crawford approached the ring, they taunted him, with Theory even threatening to knock out the Nebraska native. Unimpressed by the threats, Crawford retaliated with a single punch that left Theory unconscious.
I was intrigued by The Day of the Jackal, the new Sky drama, just from hearing that Lashana Lynch and Eddie Redmayne were in it.
