Paige DeSorbo Breaks Silence on Heartbreaking Breakup with Craig Conover

In the run-up to our separation, I must admit that my bond with Craig Conover didn’t quite captivate me as it once did.

In the latest episode of “Summer House” on April 16, I found myself opening up candidly about my thoughts of possibly seeking a fresh start after three years in my relationship.

The co-host of the Giggly Squad podcast expressed to Ciara Miller, “I’ve told him numerous times, ‘If this isn’t what you prefer…'” However, she was met with a response from Miller, who argued, “You’re making it seem like it’s his choice. Because it’s more convenient to offer the other person an escape route than to truly examine whether that’s what you desire yourself.

A seemingly defeated Paige added, “I just want to run away and change my name.”

Additionally, the fact that Craig had earlier expressed worries that their long-term “Giggly Squad” tour could potentially stress their relationship left her feeling remorseful about her growing professional commitments.

The 32-year-old confided in her BFF, saying, “I can’t help but feel a sense of guilt because I’m not as joyful as I think I should be, given all the good things in my life.” She continued, “I find myself thinking, ‘I asked for everything I have now,’ and yet here I am with more anxiety than ever before, despite having an apartment, a loving boyfriend who adores me, and a fulfilling career that I enjoy. It’s confusing.

However, sharing her doubts about their future on camera only intensified Paige’s feelings, leaving her in a state of emotional turmoil the following day as well.

She confided in Ciara, her voice trembling after a tough night reflecting on her emotions towards the Southern Charm personality. “I’m simply swamped,” she admitted, tears streaming down. “I haven’t had a moment to myself. I fear Craig might explode at me. I’m just on edge, worrying he might say something like, ‘You’re such a nuisance.’ I’m just so worried he’ll call me names.

Ultimately, Paige found herself in a situation where she felt compelled to decide between nurturing her relationship and advancing her career, as this choice had become apparent following her split with the man from Charleston in November.

The influencer went on to acknowledge, “I understand his feelings are important too.” He might say, “You’re always so busy, don’t you have time for me?” Yet, at times, I feel he undermines the extent of my workload or that I’m a bad person if my relationship with Craig isn’t my top priority. I constantly worry that I’m making mistakes. I fear our relationship might end and people will say, “He’s so much better off without her. She deserves whatever she gets.

Paige tearfully added, “I get nervous that everything I have will go away.”

In the summer of 2021, cast members Craig Conover and Paige DeSorbo from Winter House began seeing each other casually. As their feelings deepened, they officially became a couple in the fall. Craig shared with TopMob News that their relationship evolved to the point where he no longer wanted to see other people due to his strong feelings for her.

On September 25, Craig attended a photobooth celebration with Paige, as they witnessed Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula, their co-stars from Summer House, getting married.

For Halloween, Paige and Craig decided to portray Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee, similar to the characters in the Hulu series “Pam and Tommy.

On December 19, Craig first appeared on Paige’s Instagram layout, accompanied by a sweet photograph that he aptly captioned, “Stitched with affection.

In her Instagram post, Paige wrote, “Taking ‘the perfect picture’ is a round-the-clock commitment,” accompanied by this lovely snapshot of her and Craig at their friend’s wedding, and additional candid shots showing them practicing their pose.

Eager to exhibit my southern hospitality, I delighted in posting snaps from our sun-soaked beach day with Paige on Instagram. In the mix were photos showcasing some of the cozy pillows from my very own home decor brand, Sewing Down South.

In March 2024, the lovebirds enjoy their preferred treats at Panera as they unveil the restaurant chain’s newly updated menu.

Amid online speculation that the couple had broken up, Craig shut down the breakup rumors.

In a conversation with TopMob News in December 2024, he clarified that the source of any recent speculation about his relationship with Paige was unfounded. Since we spend time together almost every week, they are not separated or on a break; instead, they remain as a couple.

After several months of uncertainty, Paige publicly confirmed during the 2024 holiday season that she and Craig had ended their relationship of three years.

During her December 30th episode of the Giggly Squad podcast, Paige stated, “Nothing was done. It wasn’t a negative situation.” She explained, “I believe we were both exhibiting maturity by expressing our desires and dislikes, and I think it’s incredibly powerful to openly share one’s feelings in the moment and articulate what one wants for their future.

Additionally, the influencer dismissed allegations of infidelity involving her and the ‘Southern Charm’ star, maintaining that their separation was peaceful.

Paige went on to say, ‘He’s absolutely exceptional, one of the finest individuals I’ve encountered throughout my life.’ I’ll always be a devoted supporter of his, rooting for his success. And I truly believe that success will come easily to him since he is simply outstanding.

Over a week after the breakup news went public, Craig shared his side of the story.

Craig expressed in an Instagram video on January 7th that the recent turn of events had come as quite a surprise. He admitted to being taken aback and added that maintaining a relationship involves two individuals. One can’t dictate another person’s actions, but rather, one can only manage their response to such situations.

That said, Craig also wants everyone to extend grace to his now-ex.

He mentioned, “I’m trying to sort through everything right now, given the circumstances – a three-year relationship, someone you share daily conversations with, suddenly disappears. It takes time to come to terms with such a loss. Eventually, I’ll have more to say about it, but for now, I just wanted to express my gratitude for all the supportive messages everyone has sent.
