This drama is heating up.
Following the broadcast of the first episode of Summer House season 9 on Feb 12, viewers caught a glimpse of future events, and it appears there will be more developments concerning the breakup of Paige Desorbo and Craig Conover. In a snippet from the extended trailer, filmed six months after wrapping up the season, Paige is seen conversing with castmates Lindsay Hubbard and Lexi Wood, as she defends herself against accusations of infidelity.
The 32-year-old expressed, “Craig, your words are confusing me! It seems like you’re hurting me deeply at this moment.” She added, “It’s unacceptable for you to let rumors suggest I’m unfaithful. I’ve discovered texts between you and two women while we were together.
Following their surprise encounter with Lexi and Lindsay as she was expressing breast milk, Paige concludes her stance towards her ex, Craig, by assertively declaring to her companions, “You’re no longer a part of my life.
Paige publicly declared her separation from Craig on her “Giggly Squad” podcast in December, as reported by Bravo. The breakup occurred after three years together, according to Paige, who ended the relationship during Thanksgiving. Since then, she has been denying rumors that she unexpectedly ended the relationship with Craig or that she was unfaithful to him with “SNL” actor Marcello Hernandez—rumors which she insists are false.
During the February 3rd episode of their podcast “Giggly Squad,” Paige shared that during the three years she was with her former boyfriend, she did not engage in physical infidelity. She also admitted to feelings or actions that may constitute emotional infidelity, but wondered if it’s possible to cheat mentally. She clarified that she didn’t do so, as far as she knows.
Two days later, Craig defended himself and told his side of the breakup.
During his February 6th visit to ‘Watch What Happens Live’, Craig pointed out that Paige falsely claimed the breakup was mutual in her podcast, as it actually wasn’t.
In terms of discussing accusations of cheating towards Paige, Craig chose to stay out of the storyline.
As a former partner who’s moved on, I’ve made it clear that I choose to steer clear of the situation. After all, I was the one left behind in the relationship. I don’t intend to get embroiled in their drama again. Their social media activities, like comments on my grief or apologies for not being an active Reddit user, are not something I’m interested in. In her charming Instagram post, Paige titled the image, “Capturing ‘the moment’ is a round-the-clock task,” accompanied by casual snaps of her and Craig meticulously arranging their poses at a friend’s wedding.
Eager to showcase his warm, southern hospitality, Craig uploaded pictures of his enjoyable beach outing with Paige on Instagram. In some shots, he was seen alongside cushions from his own home décor business, Sewing Down South.
The happy couple took a stroll along the beach in Charleston, South Carolina.
Paige and Craig got all glammed up for the MTV Movie & TV Awards on June 5, 2022.
In March 2024, the loving couple savored their preferred treats at Panera Bread as they revealed the restaurant’s updated menu.
Amid online speculation that the couple had broken up, Craig shut down the breakup rumors.
In an interview with TopMob News in December 2024, he clarified that the source of the speculation was unclear since they spend time together almost every week. Therefore, to put any rumors to rest, he confirmed that him and Paige are not separated, but rather, they remain a couple.
After several months of uncertainty, Paige revealed during the 2024 holiday season that she and Craig had parted ways permanently, having been together for a three-year relationship period.
During her December 30th “Giggly Squad” podcast episode, Paige stated, “Nothing was done by anyone. It wasn’t a negative occurrence.” She further explained, “I believe we were both maturing and expressing our desires and dislikes openly, which I consider incredibly powerful. It’s empowering to be able to articulate your feelings in the moment and what you wish for your future.
Additionally, the influencer dismissed speculations about infidelity between her and the Southern Charm actor, affirming that their separation was cordial instead.
Paige went on to say, ‘He’s definitely among the greatest individuals I’ve ever encountered in my lifetime.’ She expressed that she would continue to be his ardent supporter, wishing only the very best for him. Indeed, he deserves nothing less as he is exceptional.
Over a week after the breakup news went public, Craig shared his side of the story.
Craig expressed in an Instagram video on January 7th that the recent events were completely unexpected, to put it mildly. He admitted he was quite surprised and acknowledged that maintaining a relationship requires involvement from two individuals. One can’t control others; one can only choose how to respond to such situations.
That said, Craig also wants everyone to extend grace to his now-ex.
He mentioned that he’s currently sorting through everything, which is understandable given their three-year relationship and the fact that his closest companion was someone he communicated with constantly. However, suddenly losing this person has left him speechless. Eventually, he’ll be able to discuss it more, but for now, he wanted to express gratitude for everyone’s supportive messages.
