At long last, the eagerly anticipated Elderwood expansion for Palia has arrived, brimming with numerous fresh Furniture options just waiting to be discovered and amassed by you!

At the moment, there are two primary collections available for your selection: Umbraan and Elderwood decorative sets. Additionally, there are numerous individual items and smaller sets available for collection as well. With the recent increase in the decor limit to 3500, this expansion provides you with a multitude of customization possibilities!

How to Unlock All New Furniture Items | Palia: Elderwood

First of all, let’s go over how to obtain the two major decor sets included in this update:

  • Umbraan Decor Set –You can buy the basic recipes for this decor Tish’s store at the Furniture Making Guild once you’re at Furniture Making Level 8. Purchase the Umbraan Decor Starter Pack for 7500 Gold. You can unlock the rest of the recipes by selecting via Inspiration, which triggers whenever you craft an item for the first time at a Worktable.
  • Elderwood Decor Set – This is the toughest of the sets to unlock fully, as you need to explore a lot. You can find each piece of this set in various locations all over the Elderwood region. As a gamer diving into Palia: Elderwood, here’s a quick rundown on the remaining furniture pieces. Mostly, these are individual items you can acquire through completing Accomplishments and hidden quests, so be mindful if you wish to steer clear of spoilers!

Accomplishments and Miscellaneous Items

  • Brighteyed Shadowbox – Complete the “Elderwood Entomologist” Accomplishment by catching every bug type in the Elderwood region.
  • Elderwood Shadowbox – Complete the “Master Elderwood Entomologist” Accomplishment by catching 1-Star variants of every bug type in the Elderwood region.
  • Mounted Floatfish – Complete the “Elderwood Angler” Accomplishment by catching every fish type in the Elderwood region.
  • Mounted Maws – Complete the “Master Elderwood Angler” Accomplishment by catching 1-Star variants of every fish type in the Elderwood region.
  • Shmole Mounted Trophy – Complete the “Whack-a-Shmole!” Accomplishment by looting one of every Shmole Spore variety. They drop from Fungophers.
  • Bahari Hunter’s Mounted Ogopuu – Complete the “Slimed!” Accomplishment by looting one of each type of Ogopuu Scale. They drop from Ogopuus.
  • Elderwood Map – Complete the “Elderwood Riches” Accomplishment by looting all hidden treasure chests in the Elderwood region.
  • Piksii Grove – Complete the final main story quest for the Elderwood region, “Something Wicked.”

  • Ogopuu Plushies – Every variant of the Ogopuu creatures can drop their respective plushies. This includes the Ogopuu Plush (blue), Emerald Ogopuu Plush (green), and Waveback Ogopuu Plush (black).
  • Shmole Plushies – Dropped by the Fungopher creatures in Elderwood, they look just like the Fungophers. This includes the Shmole Plush (red and white), Elder Shmole Plush (purple and black), and the Piksii Shmole Plush (blue and purple).

Hidden Quest Items | All New Furniture in Palia: Elderwood

  • Aristocrat Mirror – Complete the “Hair Today, Gone Tomorrow” side quest. For this one, find the crate in the very center of the Okanaa Bog and get it to Kenli.
  • Copper Teapot – Complete the “All Quiet on the Umbraan Front” side quest. You can start this quest by reading the Sentry Logbook #1 on the circular ruin northwest of the Okanaa Bog, Elderwood.
  • Elouisa’s Moondial – Complete the “Platy-Piece of the Puzzle” side quest. This quest starts by speaking to Elouisa, who will task you with finding items at various locations in the Elderwood.
  • Gil 522 – Complete the “Parental Dispute” side quest. Talk to Einar to start this one. Depending on how the dialogue goes, you’ll need to catch 1 of 4 potential types of fish to complete the quest.

  • Grow All Out Gazebo – Complete the “Fit for a Queen Bee” side quest. Start the quest by finding the Bee-Sized Crown. You’ll get it by gathering honey from beehives in the northwestern part of the Mauvais Way area in Elderwood.
  • Maji and Magic Kit – Complete the “Magic and Maji” side quest. You can start this one by simply talking to Chayne. You’ll require Batterfly Beans, so it’s a good idea to gather some first.
  • Mermaid Decor Mini Set – Complete the “One Majiri’s Trash” side quest. You can start this quest by finding a Paper Clip, which randomly drops from mining nodes in the Elderwood region.
  • Votive Candle – Complete the “Explosions Long Past” side quest. Go fishing without using bait in the Elderwood region until you get a chest containing the Runic Sphere. Give it to Ashura to complete the quest.
