However, it turned out that the court case centered around patent issues, with Nintendo claiming that Pocketpair was violating their patents.

In an unusual disclosure, the studio has verified certain adjustments they’ve already made, as well as modifications they are compelled to carry out in the future because of the continuous legal disputes.

“On 30th November, 2024, we released Patch v0.3.11 for Palworld,” the statement says.

This update took away the option to conjure companions using Pal Spheres, replacing it with a permanent summoning spot near the player. Additionally, various other game aspects underwent modifications in this update.

The essential change is that you’ll now need to ensure a glider is in your inventory before you can glide.
