As an avid gamer with a keen eye for detail and a soft spot for unique game worlds, I must say that the latest update for Palworld has left me rather impressed! It’s not often we see such quick updates, especially for a new game that just released this year. The Halloween skins for four different Pals are a fun addition, and I can’t help but chuckle at the thought of a pirate-themed Pengullet roaming around Palworld.

As a gaming enthusiast, I’m super excited to share that my favorite game, Palworld, has just rolled out a seasonal update, perfect timing for Halloween! This update introduces some fresh looks for four of my beloved Pals – Cattiva, Katress, Pengullet, and Croajiro – with their new Halloween skins. The dedicated developers at Pocketpair unveiled this update late in the night on Tuesday, confirming these changes.

All of the new content was geared solely towards these new Pal skins, so the rest of the Palworld update is pretty much exclusively geared towards fixes and the like. This is of course the first Halloween update that Palworld has gotten given that it was only in January 2024 that the game released.

The full patch notes for this year’s Halloween update in Palworld can be found below:

Although Palworld was launched this year, the skins for the game are quite novel and were only introduced not long ago. Even though there are already various elemental variations of Pals such as Ignis, Lux, Cryst, and others in Palworld, these skins serve a purely aesthetic purpose and are specific to the Pals they’re designed for. The developer of Palworld recently released a trailer displaying what these four skins currently look like. Apart from these, skins are also occasionally distributed as Twitch Drops, so players of Palworld might be able to obtain more through this method in the future, along with the free ones that were given out recently.

In the midst of a larger ongoing legal dispute between Pocketpair, Nintendo, and The Pokemon Company, fresh content for Palworld has been introduced. Instead of copyright concerns, the lawsuit revolves around patent infringement. While details about the evidence supporting the lawsuit remain undisclosed, it’s speculated that one patent related to Pokeballs could be at the heart of this legal battle, as some of the Pals bear a striking resemblance to Pokemon.

Palworld‘s latest update is out now for Xbox, PlayStation, and PC players to download.
