In simpler terms, the game Palworld by Pocketpair has some exciting prospects such as cooperative cross-platform play, transferring your world among friends (referred to as “Pals”), and additional collaborative content with Terraria from Re-Logic. The aspect that seems most captivating is the climactic storyline known as the “World Tree.
According to community manager John Buckley, though we don’t have a specific release date yet, the game has been planned out in advance. Since its launch, players have noticed that the location of ‘the ending’, known as The World Tree, has always been present.
A lot of gamers thought that was as far as they’d go, but we’ve been inundated with questions about when the World Tree will be accessible. So, we’re thrilled to announce that we’re now ready to let players explore this new region!
In other words, although the storyline in Palworld reaches its climax with the World Tree, this doesn’t imply that the game itself will cease to exist (assuming there are no further legal issues from Nintendo). As Buckley explains, it’s just the end of this specific adventure, but he can’t think of a more suitable term for it at the moment.
Concerning additional news, Buckley acknowledged, “Perhaps we revealed our Terraria partnership a bit too soon, yet everyone, including Re-Logic, was so thrilled that we decided to share it early as it seemed like fun!” The first item – the Meowmere sword, which shoots bullets – was released with the Feybreak update.
Palworld is currently accessible in its early stage for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and personal computers. Our review focuses on the initial release version, but keep in mind that it has undergone multiple updates since then. The latest update includes Spring Festival skins for five Pals, as well as enhancements to user experience such as summoned Pals attacking the closest enemy, a reduction in Plasteel required when crafting equipment, and additional improvements.
