Path of Exile: Settlers of Kalguur Finally Introduces an In-Game Currency Market

As a seasoned gamer with hundreds of hours invested in Path of Exile, I can’t contain my excitement for the upcoming expansion, Settlers of Kalguur. The new town-building, trade routes, and resource gathering features are already a game-changer, but the addition of an in-game market for trading and buying currency is the cherries on top.

Grinding Gear Games’ “Path of Exile” introduces long-awaited new features for free with town construction, trade networks, and resource collection. Additionally, they are implementing a long-requested function: an in-game marketplace for exchanging and purchasing currency.

Based on the description on Faustus from Heist’s webpage, players have the ability to buy and sell currency along with other stackable items directly with one another. This eliminates the need for exchanging invites, waiting for replies, traveling to meet up, and initiating trades personally. Instead, simply state which currency and what you intend to trade, and Faustus will handle the transaction for you.

It’s been suggested that the lack of an in-game market or Auction House is intended to keep the gearing process challenging. However, based on depictions of the Currency Trade Market, gold seems destined to play a role in transactions. The amount needed and how swiftly players can amass it are still open questions, so keep an eye out for updates.

Path of Exile: The settlement of Kalguur is set to debut on July 26th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and computers. Keep an eye out for further updates leading up to the launch.
