Patrick Schwarzenegger is taking credit for his own accomplishments.

In a recent interview with The Sunday Times, published on February 23rd, Patrick responded to those who might claim he landed his role due to family connections: “They don’t realize that I’ve invested over a decade in acting classes, performed weekly school plays, dedicated countless hours to perfecting my characters, and faced rejection from hundreds of auditions.

Despite needing to carve out his own identity in Hollywood while constantly overshadowed by his father, the 31-year-old is content with how things have turned out and wouldn’t alter anything about his journey.

Patrick acknowledged it’s quite annoying,” he said, “and sometimes it feels like you’re stuck, and for a brief instant, you might wish your surname was different. However, that’s just a fleeting thought.

He went on to say, ‘I wouldn’t swap my life with anyone else’s.’ He feels incredibly blessed to possess the life, family, parents, and the teachings and virtues they’ve passed down to him.

As a devoted admirer, I bear the Schwarzenegger name with pride, just like my esteemed namesake, but young Joseph Baena, my brother from another mother, opted to carry on the Baena lineage instead, seeking to steer clear of any additional spotlights and pressures that may come his way.
