As a die-hard Marvel fan with over two decades of comic book obsession under my belt, I can hardly contain my excitement for the upcoming Vision series on Disney+! Paul Bettany’s recent revelation about the series starting production next year has sent shockwaves through the Marvel Universe – and rightfully so. The fact that he’s been keeping up with Agatha All Along is a clear sign that we’re in for a mind-blowing ride.

The highly anticipated Marvel’s Vision series on Disney+ won’t be released until 2026, but star Paul Bettany has shared some significant news about it. In a conversation with The Hollywood Reporter, Bettany disclosed that the production for the show is expected to start next year, and he’s thrilled about it. However, he also mentioned that he’s been following the WandaVision spinoff series Agatha All Along closely as he prepares to delve into making the Vision series, hinting at a lot for him to grasp in the process.

I absolutely adore it! I’m not only filled with affection for it, but I also feel a profound sense of pride towards showrunner Jac Schaeffer. In fact, I can’t wait to watch it again as there’s so much that I can learn from it to apply in my own future contributions.

The Marvel series known informally as “Vision Quest,” or simply “Vision,” is set to be the second spinoff of “WandaVision.” This upcoming series will continue the storyline left open by “WandaVision,” where Vision, in his white robotic form, embarked on a journey to discover his identity. Previously, it was announced that Jac Schaeffer, creator of “Agatha All Along,” would be the showrunner for the series; however, it was revealed this year that Terry Matalas would take over that role instead. In September, Schaeffer confirmed to ComicBook that she is no longer connected with the Vision series, but remains supportive of its success.

Indeed, I’m not part of it,” Schaeffer clarified. “However, I genuinely hope they succeed. Paul is a dear friend and an exceptional individual. He embodies the character, so while I’m not directly involved, I wholeheartedly support him in this endeavor.

Beyond Schaeffer clarifying she’s not part of it, there isn’t much information available about the Vision series. However, we do know that James Spader will reprise his role as Ultron, having voiced the villain in Avengers: Age of Ultron previously. Additionally, Todd Stashwick from Star Trek: Picard and 12 Monkeys has joined the cast as an assassin hunting the android and the technology it carries.

How Will Agatha All Along Influence the Vision Series?

As a gaming enthusiast eagerly anticipating the next Marvel chapter with the Vision series, I must admit that the specifics about it are still under wraps. The impact of “Agatha All Along” on the overall narrative remains uncertain, as Paul Bettany’s comments about revisiting this episode might be more about the life-changing revelations, such as Billy being alive, rather than any direct plot connection.

You can now stream the show “Agatha All Along” on Disney+. Fresh episodes come out every Wednesday at 9 pm Eastern Time. It’s speculated that the upcoming Marvel series featuring Vision might debut in 2026.
