In 2025, Paul Simon will be making a comeback with a series of concerts spread throughout North America.
7 years ago, the renowned 83-year-old musician, who is also a songwriter, decided to stop performing due to significant hearing issues that made it impossible for him to carry on.
Instead, he’s made public his plans to travel for a span of four months, commencing on April 4th and concluding on August 2nd. During this time, he will spend extended periods in both New York’s Beacon Theatre and Los Angeles’s Walt Disney Concert Hall.
The 56-date tour starts in New Orleans, Louisiana, at the Saenger Theater.
Simon recently reappeared only a few days following his unexpected guest spot at the Saturday Night Live’s 50th Anniversary Special on February 16th, where he teamed up with Sabrina Carpenter for a performance.
In unison, they reenacted the renowned Simon & Garfunkel hit “Homeward Bound” for a star-studded audience comprising ex-SNL actors and special guests such as Andy Samberg, Bill Hader, Martin Short, and Meryl Streep.
To kick off the night’s celebrations, the duo took the stage first. Simon remarked, “I performed this very song alongside George Harrison during our Saturday Night Live appearance back in 1976.
“I was not born then,” Carpenter joked. “And neither were my parents.”

The 16th, 18th, 19th, 20th, 21st, and 23rd are all at Beacon Theater in New York, New York. The 16th is unique, but the 18th, 19th, 20th, 21st, and 23rd are repeats of each other. The 26th and 28th are both at Academy of Music in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, with the 28th being a repeat of the 26th event.
