Earlier, there were hints about the second season of “Peacemaker” coming out this year, but now, James Gunn, co-president of DC Studios and creator of the series, has officially announced its release date. Exciting news for DC fans as they won’t have to wait much longer – “Peacemaker” Season 2 is slated to drop at the end of summer, with a confirmed premiere on Max set for August 21st. Although Gunn penned all eight episodes for the upcoming season, he was only able to direct some due to simultaneous production of both “Peacemaker” and “Superman.” This double duty made it challenging for Gunn to maintain his involvement with both DC productions.
Gunn posted on X, previously known as Twitter, ‘I’m excitedly counting down the days for Peace on Earth.’ He completed the Dialogue Integration & Mix on the Season Premiere yesterday and it’s now one of his favorite projects. DC Studios’ Peacemaker Season 2 is set to arrive on @StreamOnMax on August 21.
