Peacock Releases Impressive Lineup of Horror Programming for Halloween

As someone who has been through a lifetime of chilling experiences, I must say that the upcoming slate of movies on Peacock is nothing short of spine-tingling! Amongst all these terrifying titles, what really caught my eye was “The Fly” (1986) – it’s been ages since I’ve felt the creepy crawlies on my skin like that!

In just a couple of summer weeks, we’ll be transitioning into autumn, marking the arrival of the spooky season! This means horror enthusiasts will be on the hunt for chilling content across movies and TV shows. Today, Peacock revealed their upcoming offerings that cater to this demand, featuring over 150 titles perfect for Halloween. These selections span from timeless cinematic masterpieces to recently popular favorites, along with a few innovative original series. For a complete look at the Halloween-themed content coming to Peacock, take a peek below!

Beginning on October 10th, the original series “Teacup” will premiere. This show centers around a diverse group of individuals living in rural Georgia who are forced to unite against an enigmatic danger to ensure their survival. The plot is reminiscent of the bestselling novel “Stinger” by Robert McCammon published in the New York Times.

On October 18th is the premiere of “Hysteria!“, a story about a popular varsity quarterback who vanishes during the late ’80s Satanic Panic. A group of underdog heavy metal musicians, struggling with their place in school, find an opportunity to exploit the town’s newfound fascination with the occult by presenting themselves as a Satanic metal band. However, things take a dark turn when a string of unusual murders, abductions, and alleged supernatural occurrences ignite a leather-clad witch hunt that ultimately points back to them.
