As a gamer, I never thought Twisted Metal would be this much fun, but boy was I wrong! The TV show adaptation turned out to be a real hoot, and it’s no surprise that it was swiftly renewed for a second season, given its stellar performance far beyond what anyone could have expected.
Here’s a sneak peek at our fresh series that returns the narrative to its initial source of inspiration.
If you missed the first season and want to avoid spoilers, let me fill you in: Delivery driver John Doe, portrayed by Anthony Mackie, was tricked into believing he could achieve an ideal life. Instead, he found himself enrolled in the infamous Twisted Metal tournament. Now, the much-anticipated tournament is finally underway.
In the latest preview, various characters are showcased, among them is Calypso. Expected to premiere on Peacock this coming summer, we’re eagerly looking forward to catching up with it.
