Peaky Blinders is not wrapping up anytime soon, as its creator, Steven Knight, suggests there are more chapters left in the story.
The much-awaited Netflix movie serves as a follow-up to the popular TV show, boasting an impressive ensemble featuring Cillian Murphy, along with Rebecca Ferguson, Barry Keoghan, and Tim Roth among others.
Following the conclusion of production towards the end of last year, Knight shared with BBC Breakfast: “We are currently assembling this project. Let me put it this way – it’s truly remarkable! We have gathered, I believe, some of the finest British actors in a single space, including Stephen [Graham].
However, a burning question among fans has been whether the movie signifies the conclusion of Peaky Blinders, and there might just be a hint of optimism left.
The knight continued, hinting that there may be further developments without disclosing all details.
According to Knight, he can’t publicly declare it, but what he’s hinting at is that the world of Peaky Blinders isn’t over.
Although Knight remained tight-lipped about additional details, whispers of potential Peaky Blinders spin-offs have circulated in the past.
After the conclusion of the BBC One series, rumors arose that it would spawn a spin-off, this time set in Boston during the mid-1900s. Meanwhile, another report hinted at a separate continuation focusing on the character, Polly Gray.
