As a devoted fan who has spent countless hours immersed in the gritty, gripping world of Peaky Blinders, I can barely contain my excitement at the news that Stephen Graham will be reprising his role as Hayden Stagg for the upcoming film!
In recent times, there’s been a flurry of intriguing Peaky Blinders casting updates regarding the upcoming film. However, enthusiasts of this Birmingham-set drama are left in suspense, eagerly waiting to find out if any previously recognized characters will return for the highly anticipated cinematic venture.
Indeed, not only will Cillian Murphy reprise his role as Tommy Shelby, but Stephen Graham has likewise affirmed his return for the upcoming Netflix movie.
At the London Film Festival, Graham shared with Deadline his upcoming project – a Peaky Blinders feature film. Excitedly, he mentioned that he can’t wait to reunite with the gang from Peaky Blinders once more.
Although Graham hasn’t explicitly stated his role, it seems likely that he will once again take on the character of Hayden Stagg, as suggested by his involvement in season 6.
In the not-too-distant future, Graham and Peaky Blinders’ creator Steven Knight won’t just join forces for the upcoming movie, but they also plan to team up again on a Disney Plus series titled “A Thousand Blows.
Graham has been added to the previously declared ensemble cast for Peaky Blinders, which includes Tim Roth from Pulp Fiction, Barry Keoghan from Saltburn, and Rebecca Ferguson known for her work in Mission: Impossible. All of them are scheduled to appear in undisclosed roles at this time.
Towards the end of last month, it was confirmed that the movie has begun active production. A sneak peek image was released, featuring Murphy donning his usual outfit as Tommy Shelby.
At the outset of filming, Knight expressed his excitement: “It’s fantastic to witness the cameras capturing the next installment of the Peaky Blinders saga, this time during World War II. As the nation is in conflict, so too are the Peaky Blinders.
Just like Director Tom Harper stated, “There’s a palpable sense of eagerness and thrill among our exceptional team. We’re deeply appreciative of the fan support that brought us here, and we firmly believe that this upcoming chapter will offer an extraordinary experience.
You can stream “Peaky Blinders” on the BBC iPlayer. Additionally, the movie will be streaming on Netflix, for which you can sign up starting from £4.99 per month. Notably, Netflix is also accessible through Sky Glass and Virgin Media Stream.
