Penn Badgley is welcoming the excitement of soon being a dad to not one, but two tiny residents of the Upper East Side.
In February, the former star of “Gossip Girl” along with his spouse, Domino Kirke, revealed they are anticipating the arrival of twins. He shared that he’s as prepared as he can be for the exciting experience of welcoming multiple babies.
In their world, birth plays a significant role because my wife is a doula. Penn, who has a 4-year-old son James with Domino and is stepfather to her 16-year-old son Cassius from his relationship with musician Morgan O’Kane, mentioned this on the April 23 episode of Call Her Daddy. Penn added that they initially thought they were done having children but then decided to try for another one.
In simpler terms, the actor from “You” expressed that we assumed we were familiar with the idea since we already have two children and are surrounded by families having kids. However, as time went on, we realized that caring for a third child was an entirely new experience.
In 2017, when Penn and Domino announced that they were expecting twins, they expressed their shock and delight at expanding their family by twice its original size.
Domino announced on Instagram on February 28 that we’re expecting our third and fourth babies this Summer! What a surprise twist! The unplanned twins are truly extraordinary. We’re shocked, we’re amazed. I can’t imagine anyone else I’d rather share this incredible journey with @pennbadgley.
As they journey through parenthood with multiples, Penn is already appreciating the unique bond between their twins—a connection that holds a special significance for someone who didn’t have siblings in their childhood.
In truth, she openly admitted, viewing the ultrasound images now, as an only child herself, it’s incredibly heartwarming to see them bonded so closely. They seem inseparable, almost as if there was a picture of them relaxing in a hot tub because they were both positioned similarly, or at least that’s how it looks on the ultrasound.
He mentioned that he couldn’t tell whether north or south lay before him since, as you can imagine, it was a different world entirely. However, they seemed to be facing each other as if seated on opposite sides of a table.
Even as he’s about to enter uncharted territory with four children, Penn has already mastered some of his finest fatherly traits.
In an open conversation on ‘Call Her Daddy’, he shared that one of the finest traits of a great father is not just listening but also apologizing when needed. He emphasized that these actions, though often overlooked in fathers, are crucial. However, he wants to be more than just a listener and an apologist; there are other aspects to his parenting as well.

After the conclusion of Gossip Girl, the actress who played Serena van der Woodsen has been exceptionally busy. A few months before the 2012 finale, she married actor Ryan Reynolds and together they have four children: daughters James, Inez, and Betty, as well as a son named Olin, born in 2023. In recent years, she has appeared in popular movies such as The Age of Adaline, The Shallows, A Simple Favor, and The Rhythm Section.
Stepping out from the shadows of Dan Humphrey and Gossip Girl, I’ve found my voice as Joe Goldberg in the captivating series “You.
Beyond professional matters, it’s worth mentioning that Badgley is a married man. He exchanged vows with Domino Kirke, who is the sister of ‘Girls’ actress Jemima Kirke, back in February 2017. Their first child was born in August 2020. Fans of ‘GG’ may recall that Badgley and Lively were in a relationship during the early stages of the show before they parted ways in 2010.
In recent years, the actress once known as Blair Waldorf from the Upper East Side has been creating quite an impact in the comedy scene, appearing on ABC’s show titled “Single Parents”.
Master got married to the actor Adam Brody, who is best known for playing Seth Cohen on The O.C., and they have two children together: a daughter named Arlo, born in 2015, and a son who was born in 2020, but whose name has yet to be disclosed.
Over the course of six seasons, fans were captivated by Nate Archibald, played by Crawford. Following the 2012 finale, Crawford has taken on roles in ABC’s “Blood & Oil”, as well as movies like “Eloise” and “All About Nina”. Currently, you can see Crawford in the Amazon original series “The Boys”, which was renewed for a fifth and final season in May 2024.
Ed Westwick gained prominence by playing Chuck Bass, a role he portrayed until letting go of his iconic scarf. Subsequently, he featured in the 2013 adaptation of “Romeo & Juliet” and headlined the brief run of ABC’s series “Wicked City.” Additionally, he acted in the British TV show titled “White Gold.
2017 autumn saw the Los Angeles Police Department launching an investigation concerning sexual assault accusations leveled by various women against Westwick, whom they claimed was innocent. However, in July 2018, the Los Angeles County District Attorney declined to pursue a case due to insufficient evidence in two instances and lack of cooperation from a third accuser.
For several years now, Westwick has been in a committed relationship with actress Amy Jackson. They made their engagement official in January 2024 and tied the knot in Italy that August.
Little J has made significant progress since her efforts to join Blair’s group. At the tender age of 14, Taylor Momsen found fame as Jenny Humphrey on Gossip Girl, but she departed the series in 2010 due to her deep-seated love for music that had been present since childhood. She later formed and led her band, The Pretty Reckless, at the age of 17.
Regarding a possible comeback to acting, I’ve learned that ‘never say never’ has become my mantra amidst the unpredictable twists and turns life presents us with. At the 2022 iHeartRadio Music Awards, my first red carpet event in five years, I shared this sentiment. For now, there are no imminent plans, but who knows what the future holds?
Initially, Szohr made a significant impact in Hollywood with her debut role as Vanessa Abrams in the series GG. Since then, she’s graced both the big screen and small screen, featuring in films like The Internship, Ted 2, and Two Night Stand. Additionally, she has appeared on television shows such as Kingdom, Shameless, and The Orville.
In January 2021, she welcomed a daughter named Bowie Ella, who is engaged to hockey professional Brad Richardson. The couple eventually got married in August 2024.
Ever since the finale in 2012, the witty narrator who made a comeback for the 2021 reboot has gotten married to her long-term partner Dax Shepard. They became parents to daughter Lincoln in March 2013 and welcomed another daughter, Delta, 21 months later. In her acting career, she starred in Hulu’s revival of Veronica Mars and NBC’s The Good Place. Kristen Bell also led the Bad Moms films and lends her voice to Anna in Disney’s Frozen and Frozen 2.
Did you know that the character Bucky Barnes, as portrayed by the actor, made an appearance on Gossip Girl? To be precise, he was a part of the CW series for eleven episodes from 2007 to 2010, and during this period, he had a romantic involvement with Leighton Meester’s character.
Ever since appearing on the show, Stan has gained widespread recognition due to his portrayal of Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier in the Captain America and Avengers movies. He has also been seen alongside Anthony Mackie in Disney+’s The Falcon and Winter Soldier, as well as in Hulu’s Pam & Tommy.
It’s amazing how time flies! Over ten years have passed since Duff last appeared as a guest star on GG. In her six-episode stint, she played the role of Olivia Burke, a famous actress, who developed a romantic relationship with Dan while both were at NYU. She also became notorious for being involved in a threesome with Dan’s friend, the not-so-solitary boy, and his friend Vanessa.
After that, Duff has appeared in her self-standing TV shows, notably “Younger” and “How I Met Your Father”. She was planning to reprise the role of Lizzie McGuire with Disney+, but unfortunately, it didn’t materialize due to disagreements on creative direction.
In the year 2019, the singer known as “So Yesterday” tied the knot with musician Matthew Koma. Together, they have three daughters named Banks, Mae, and Townes. Additionally, she is a mother to her son Luca, who was born from her previous marriage to Mike Comrie.
