2025 promises to be an extraordinary year for cinema in Hollywood, as they unveil their upcoming movie schedule. Among these releases is “Jurassic World: Rebirth,” a fresh installment of the iconic series, helmed by Gareth Edwards and featuring stars like Scarlett Johansson, Mahershala Ali, Jonathan Bailey, and others. For theme park enthusiasts, this means exciting new encounters, such as the arrival of Dolores, which has already sparked a frenzy of anticipation among fans.

At Universal Orlando, the life-like puppets and animatronics have become a unique selling point, distinguishing it from other theme parks. And it’s not the first time a convincing new Jurassic World dinosaur has been unveiled. In fact, some park visitors and even their mothers have found these realistic creations so authentic that they were tricked by them, as observed by fellow guests who appreciated the lifelike quality of the latest character.

  • “Y’all gotta stop. When they first started with these puppets, my mom called me to complain about how cloning dinosaurs is wrong.”
  • “EXCUSE ME THAT’S NOT REAL.”
  • “I almost said, ‘OMG what kind of lizard is that? It looks like a dinosaur’ before realizing it was a puppet.”
  • “Her lore makes this even more realistic.”

Enthusiasts on Twitter couldn’t get enough of the latest dinosaur either, posting yet another cute video displaying its powerful roar. It’s so captivating that I find myself yearning to immediately book a flight and visit the local park.

Currently, you can find this feature exclusively at the Hollywood branch of Universal parks. If, like me, you’re more accustomed to the Florida version, it might not be accessible for you right away. However, if Dolores maintains her popularity (as many anticipate she will), we could see more of her in other Universal parks down the line. Additionally, she will appear on the big screen soon in “Rebirth“, which is set to premiere in a few weeks on July 2nd, and I’m eagerly looking forward to it.
