Currently burdened with numerous ongoing projects, People Can Fly has decided to take on an additional noteworthy task by developing a new game derived from a PlayStation intellectual property. This new project is now in the prototyping stage as announced by the studio.
Under the secretive title Project Delta, details about the upcoming video game are scarce, with only Sony Interactive Entertainment’s ownership of its intellectual property being publicly disclosed. Given People Can Fly’s expertise in shooter games, having worked on titles like Bulletstorm, Gears of War: Judgment, Outriders, and others, PlayStation enthusiasts might anticipate potential matches with franchises such as Killzone, Resistance, or SOCOM for this mysterious game.
In their announcement, People Can Fly states that the “range and features” of Project Delta will bear a resemblance to those of other AAA projects they’ve collaborated on with significant publishers.
At the moment, People Can Fly is collaborating with Microsoft on a project called “Project Maverick.” This project is reportedly based on an existing Xbox intellectual property and seems to be a multiplayer shooter game. Additionally, they are offering development assistance for “Gears of War: E-Day” and are working on a new virtual reality intellectual property of their own.
