Today on Good Morning Britain, it was announced that the Peppa Pig family has expanded! It appears Mummy Pig has welcomed a beautiful, healthy baby girl pig into their family.
Evie Pig was born at 5:34am this morning at the Lindo Wing of London’s St Mary’s Hospital.
Suitably, just like a baby born in the same wing as Catherine, Princess of Wales, who delivered George, Charlotte, and Louis, the new addition to the Pig family was heralded with regal flair – through a town crier and a proclamation reminiscent of scrolls, as the official Peppa Pig birth certificate was revealed.
In February, it became known that Mummy Pig is expecting her third offspring, sparking joy among viewers worldwide. Last month, the chimneys at Battersea Power Station were painted pink to disclose the gender of the upcoming baby.
Today on Good Morning Britain, presenter Richard Arnold shared exciting news about the Pig family: they have a new member named Evie. The name honors Mummy Pig’s aunt, and for the first time, we got to see pictures of this adorable addition to their family.
Arnold shared some exciting news: “I’ve got baby-related updates for you! And isn’t today just a wonderful day? You might be familiar with my conversations with Hollywood stars, musical legends, and sports greats, but the public has been captivated by my most significant exclusive interview yet – my chat with Mummy Pig, when she revealed her pregnancy way back in February.
More than 60 million people on TikTok have been keeping up with Mummy Pig and her pig family as they prepare for their newest member. Here is the interview that kicked off this exciting journey.
After that event, Mommy, Daddy, and Baby Pig chose to paint Battersea Power Station pink – symbolizing their excitement for a new addition. As they unveiled the baby’s gender, we learned that Peppa and George will soon have a little sister! I am thrilled to share the wonderful news that she has arrived!
He commented: “It’s quite magnificent. So far, she’s been given a regal welcome, with the town crier announcing her arrival and a unique plaque – truly fit for a queen. There are also beautiful photographs capturing the joyous occasion, as you can tell from this post.
Arnold didn’t give any additional particulars at that moment, like the newborn’s weight, but we might learn more as time goes by.

Fans of Peppa Pig won’t get a chance to witness their favorite porcine family meeting Evie, the new sister, until autumn arrives. However, an extended cinema event called “Peppa Meets the Baby,” lasting an hour, will debut on Friday, 30th May. This special screening is meant to mark the start of an exhilarating new phase for the show.
