PGA Tour 2K25 Sets Up PS5 Birdie for 28th February

2K has officially unveiled PGA Tour 2K25, set to launch on February 28th, 2025 for the PS5. Tiger Woods, Matt Fitzpatrick, and Max Homa will grace the covers of the game’s three editions. Prices start at a standard £64.99 / $69.99 and climb up to a Legend Edition at £104.99 / $199.99. You can watch the new trailer above for a sneak peek.

Because no PGA Tour game was played last year, this is the first golf game from 2K Sports since PGA Tour 2K23, which means it’s offering a bit more than typical. The 2025 edition features the PGA Championship, U.S. Open, and The Open Championship for the first time in the series, making history. Additionally, the EvoSwing mechanic has been significantly upgraded with new shot types, ball flights, roll physics, and visual enhancements. MyCAREER mode is said to be more immersive and customizable, along with a wider range of creation tools.

Initially, the game will feature 11 top-tier golfers, among them are three cover personalities, along with stars such as Justin Thomas, Tony Finau, Lydia Ko, Tom Kim, and Brooke Henderson. At its debut, it will include 29 golf courses, with upcoming additions being the U.S. Open at Oakmont Country Club (2025), the PGA Championship at Quail Hollow Club (2025), and The 153rd Open at Royal Portrush Golf Club. In the second season of the game, The Old Course at St. Andrews will be introduced.
