After its Japanese debut in December 2024, the demo for “Phantom Brave: The Lost Hero” has been made accessible in the western regions for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch, as per the announcement by the game’s publisher, NIS America.
In simpler terms, the demonstration version provides you with the initial two parts of the complete game, and any progress you make in this demo will transfer over to the full game once it goes live.
Here is a brief overview of the game, via NIS America:
In the game ‘Phantom Brave: The Lost Hero’, the narrative revolves around Marona, a talented young girl who can converse with phantoms. She navigates the ocean realm of Ivoire, offering assistance to those in distress. However, when a swarm of ghost ships launches an attack, it falls upon Marona and her newly-made friend Apricot to gather the legendary team that previously vanquished these spectral adversaries.
Hire Phantoms, attach them to various items, join them with Gadgets, and sometimes fuse them with Marona for spectacular powers that can ultimately sink the Shipwreck Armada!
The game titled “Phantom Brave: The Lost Hero” will be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch from January 30th worldwide. A PC version will be released via Steam in the spring of 2025.
