Phasmophobia Gets Another Quick Update After Bleasdale Farmhouse Rework

Today, an update for the ghost-hunting game, Phasmophobia, has been rolled out on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC systems. Last week, developers at Kinetic Games released a substantial update for Phasmophobia which revamped the Bleasdale Farmhouse map. It appears that this update may have also introduced some new glitches in Phasmophobia, as players have since reported. In response to these issues, Kinetic Games is now working on fixing these bugs with today’s subsequent patch.

Immediately available, the 0.12.0.2 hotfix for the ghost-hunting game Phasmophobia isn’t a major overhaul. It mainly addresses four troublesome issues that multiple players have encountered, mostly concerning ghost behavior. Additionally, Kinetic Games has made some tailored adjustments to the PlayStation and Xbox versions of Phasmophobia to rectify crashes and improve performance issues that have been arising.

Fixes

  • Fixed an issue that was causing inconsistencies in ghost line of sight when hiding in select spots.
  • Fixed a non host crash that would occur when the ghost interacted with the clothes in the Bleasdale Farmhouse wardrobe.
  • Fixed an issue in Bleasdale Farmhouse that caused the bowl to collide with the player.
  • Fixed an issue that caused ghosts to be able to see the player between the double glass doors in Bleasdale Farmhouse.

Xbox / PlayStation

  • Fixed a common crash on Xbox Series X/S that was introduced in the last update.
  • Implemented several PlayStation performance improvements.
  • Fixed an issue that caused a visual desync on PlayStation when opening certain doors in Bleasdale Farmhouse.
