Phil Robertson’s Wife Makes Rare Appearance on Duck Dynasty Revival

Phil Robertson’s wife was spending his last days with him and their family.

In the months preceding the death of “Duck Dynasty” star, who lost his life after fighting Alzheimer’s disease, his wife, Kay Robertson (also known as “Miss Kay”), made a seldom occurrence on the recent episode of the revived “Duck Dynasty” series that aired on June 1.

In a candid moment, I shared that my mother-in-law, Miss Kay, isn’t currently residing on our family property at the moment. However, whenever we host special occasions like baby showers or simply family dinners, she promptly makes time to drop by and be with us.

Without a doubt, Miss Kay was an integral part of the festivities surrounding Rebecca Robertson Loftin and John Reed Loftin’s baby shower for their third child, Xander, born in November. In addition to Xander, they are parents to Zane, aged 5, and Holland, aged 4.

Miss Kay, like several other Robertsons, showed great joy about the upcoming arrival, and she took the lead in praying during the celebration gathering.

Dad, we’re incredibly appreciative of your countless acts of kindness towards us,” Miss Kay expressed at that moment. “Dad, thank you for the precious little ones. They are priceless beyond measure. There are times when we’re exhausted from their demands, and it crosses our minds why we have them. But in your honor, we ask for blessings. Amen.

In the episode filmed in autumn of 2024, Phil made a seldom-seen appearance, as this occurred during his health struggle. Notably, the patriarch of “Duck Dynasty,” who was the father to Willie, Jace Robertson, Phyllis Robertson Thomas, Alan Robertson, and Jules Jeptha Robertson, passed away on May 22, 2024.

In a heartfelt message, the family expressed their gratitude for all the love and prayers from countless people whose lives were touched by his exceptional life. They appreciated his grace-filled journey, courageous faith, and unwavering passion to share the wonderful news of Jesus with everyone. His earthly life was treasured, and they plan to carry on his legacy of loving God and caring for others until they meet him again.

In the year 2020, it was uncovered that Phil Robertson, a member of the Duck Dynasty family, had fathered a daughter named Phyllis as a result of an affair from years past. This revelation led him to reestablish contact with his long-lost child and even take her on a duck hunting trip together.

In my post on Instagram last November, I expressed my heartfelt gratitude for the way God orchestrated our meeting after so many years have passed. His impeccable timing never ceases to amaze me, and each passing day and fresh encounter feels like another precious gift bestowed upon me.

Phyllis titled this January 2021 photo as the conclusion of her initial duck hunting season, noting it was a fantastic hunt. Interestingly, this same date last year signified the start of my true father-daughter relationship once paternity results came back affirmative. Indeed, there have been highs and lows on this rollercoaster journey. Yet, as Romans 8:28 states, we believe that in everything God orchestrates good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. I’m incredibly grateful that both the day and the one-year anniversary ended positively.

In 2021, Phil and his wife, affectionately known as “Miss Kay” Robertson, extended an invitation to Phyllis and her husband, so they could celebrate Easter with their family, which included Phil’s brother, Si Robertson, as well.

Phil taught Phyllis how to make mayhaw jelly in May 2021.

Phyllis celebrated her first Father’s Day with Phil in 2021.

She posted on Instagram, “My father showed me how to prepare crawfish au gratin today. It was a tasty and unforgettable Father’s Day – my very first one celebrating it with him.

Phyllis celebrated Christmas 2021 with Phil, Miss Kay, along with their grown-up children Al Robertson, Jase Robertson, Willie Robertson, and Jep Robertson.

The Robertson family went duck hunting in November 2022.

2022-23 duck hunting season has come to an end for Phyllis, stretching from northeastern Louisiana to southeastern Kansas. In February 2022, she penned her thoughts on the experience: “It was fantastic spending quality time with my dad, family, and friends. We engaged in deep discussions about faith, marveled at nature’s beauty, honed new abilities, contributed to a missions fundraiser, and spread the Good News. Not only that, but we bagged and organized some ducks! All in all, it was an incredibly fulfilling season.

In the spirit of Easter 2023, I extend warm wishes for a joyous celebration as we commemorate the miracle of resurrection. May the love of Jesus bring you light, hope, and a sense of promise in your life. Here’s wishing you a Happy Easter from our family to yours!
