Today, RGG Studio unveiled a fresh trailer for Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, which offers a glimpse into the storyline of this eccentric game centered around the character Majima. The video’s narrator is none other than AEW wrestler Samoa Joe, who lends his voice to the pirate king Laymond Law within the game. Take a look at it above for an exciting peek!
In the continuation of the Yakuza series, the game for both PS4 and PS5, titled after “Infinite Wealth,” is an integral part of the official storyline. Since it’s coming before the next major release, long-time fans should keep track of its events. As for Goro Majima, he finds himself on an island with amnesia, which propels him to embark on a voyage in search of his lost memories, hidden treasures, and Madlantis – a significant location in the Yakuza universe known as the home of all things pirate-related, effectively serving as the game’s central hub.

Last month, we engaged in a two-hour interactive gameplay session, and we found it to be a unique twist on the traditional struggles of Kiryu and Ichiban, which we described as “absurdly brilliant”. Even though there are obvious connections with the game from last year, Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii successfully establishes its own identity.
