According to a discovery made by Gematsu, it seems that Brazil’s age rating system has hinted at the development of a fresh Plants vs. Zombies game.
The proposed title indicates it might be named “Plants vs. Zombies: Reboot,” and many people seem convinced that it’s probably an updated version of the initial strategy game.
The webpage indicates that the game will be available on contemporary systems such as PS5, and it’s worth noting that this version was produced in 2009 – the same year the initial game was released.
Originally launched as a favorite tower defense game on PlayStation 3 in 2011, the series progressed and expanded with multiplayer shooter games such as Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare and Battle for Neighborville on PS4. However, the strategic roots of this franchise are not found in Sony’s current generation consoles.
It seems that the upcoming changes for Plants vs. Zombies Reloaded might become clearer soon, given the suggested age rating. Here’s hoping we find out more about its nature without having to wait too much longer.
In simple terms, would you be interested in seeing the series come back on PlayStation 5? Go ahead and express it by posting a sunflower in the comment box below.
