Transforming into a Ghoul significantly alters your experience in Bethesda Game Studios’ persistent multiplayer role-playing game, as you prosper when encountering radiation. Moreover, Ghouls are granted exclusive access to 30 special Perks, offering distinct benefits for gameplay.

As a tech-savvy individual, I must say that the fresh new look of this world isn’t merely skin deep. The Brotherhood of Steel, one of the influential groups here, tends to maintain a distance from Ghouls, viewing them with suspicion. However, by employing disguises, we can sometimes navigate around this issue. Yet, let me be clear, the threat will never fully dissipate. It’s a constant undercurrent that needs to be navigated carefully in our daily lives.

To transform into a Ghoul, gamers should progress to level 50 and complete the mission titled “Faithful Leap”, whereupon they will be transformed into a Ghoul.

Ghouls possess an exclusive “Savage” gauge that gradually depletes but can be replenished through consuming different types of drugs. Maintaining this gauge at either low or high levels comes with its own set of pros and cons.

Above 80%: you gain +3 Strength, +3 Endurance, +30 Max HP

Above 20%: you lose -3 Endurance, -15 Max HP, -10 Max AP
At 0%: you gain +150% Melee Damage, and lose -5 Endurance, -99 Charisma, -30 Max HP, -20 Max AP, -300% Hip-fire Gun Accuracy & V.A.T.S. Accuracy.

Should you opt to renounce your Ghoul identity, you have the option to return to human form via the Character Screen. Remember, once you’ve made this change, if you later wish to become a Ghoul again, you won’t be able to repeat the quest and will need to pay 1,000 Atoms for another transformation.
