Diablo 4 Season 7 has begun, marking its debut after the successful release of Path of Exile 2’s main competitor. To attract players, Blizzard is providing a free tryout via Battle.net, lasting until January 28th. However, it’s important to note that this offer is only for PC gamers and allows you to progress your character up to level 25, a relatively quick achievement. Nevertheless, the trial offers an excellent chance to explore Blizzard’s renowned Action Role-Playing Game (ARPG). Any advancements made during the trial will be preserved if you choose to buy the complete game.
Play the new Spiritborn class
For a limited time during your trial period, you’re free to explore any character class, including the latest addition – Spiritborn, up to level 25. The Spiritborn class was introduced with the Vessel of Hatred expansion, which also unveiled a new map area called Nahantu and a fresh chapter in the campaign story.
To make it even more enticing, Blizzard has reduced the price of the expansion bundle by 40%. Now you can delve into both Diablo 4 and Vessel of Hatred for just $41.99, a significant savings from its original price of $69.99. This special offer is only available on Battle.net.
Welcome Back pack is staying

In a move to facilitate returning Diablo 4 players, Blizzard has made the Welcome Back pack permanent for those in the Eternal Realm. This package, initially launched last season, allows you to quickly reacclimatize if you’ve been away since the game’s launch. To give you a summary, I discussed this in my Diablo 4 leveling guide from the previous season.
The Welcome Back boost instantly elevates an Eternal Realm character to level 50, offering a considerable advantage given the new level cap of 60, not 100. Alongside the level boost, you’ll receive Legendary items and pre-set Class skills to help you jump straight into gameplay. Furthermore, your character will have all Altars of Lilith unlocked by default.
Additionally, you’ll get:
- 1 million gold
- 1000 Obols (currency to spend at the Purveyor of Curiosities)
- 1 Scroll of Amnesia (an item that allows a free respec)
- Craftiing materials
To enhance your character, make your way to Kyovashad and engage with the Fated Reliquary inside to unlock. If your character is already at level 50 with an Eternal status, you’ll still acquire Legendary items tailored for your class, as well as build choices suitable for it. Additionally, if you possess the Vessel of Hatred expansion, you’ll be granted the opportunity to utilize this powerful enhancement on two characters within the Eternal Realm.
The Diablo 4 free trial period runs until January 28 at 10am PST.
