PlayStation, Hideo Kojima’s Next-Gen Physint Game ‘Five or Six’ Years Away

In about a month, we will see the release of the next Hideo Kojima game on PlayStation 5. However, if you’re eagerly anticipating future projects from Kojima Productions, you’ll likely require a PlayStation 6 to enjoy them.

In a conversation with French publication Le Film Français, Kojima shares insights about potential film endeavors, acknowledging that his video game projects are set to keep him occupied for several years. Regarding the collaboration project with PlayStation, he estimates that it will require approximately five to six more years of work using Physint.

Additionally, Kojima Productions is working on OD in collaboration with Xbox, creating a horror game concurrently with Jordan Peele, director of films like “Get Out”, “Us”, and “Nope”.

As a dedicated fan, I’m eagerly anticipating the release of Death Stranding 2 in the not-so-distant future, somewhere nestled between my immersive experiences with Physint. With Microsoft embracing multi-platform launches, there’s a tantalizing possibility that this sequel might also grace the PS5. Mark your calendars for June 26th, 2025, as Death Stranding 2 is set to drop on PlayStation 5!

Regarding the game titled Physint, it has been described as an upcoming action espionage title that shares similarities with Metal Gear Solid. Once Death Stranding 2 is released, work on this project will commence. It’s being marketed as a groundbreaking creation aiming to blur the lines between video games and cinema by transcending traditional boundaries.
