A well-known source, eXtas1s, has disseminated pictures of a poll that was sent to PlayStation Network (PSN) users. The poll inquires about an upcoming Nintendo hardware launch.
Sony would like to know the level of your interest in purchasing the potential Switch 2 console. They also want to understand if your opinions towards Nintendo, Sony, or other companies have shifted recently. They’d appreciate it if you could share what features of the Switch 2 excite you the most. Moreover, they are interested in hearing your thoughts on the pre-order process for this console and any other related thoughts or concerns you may have.
It’s not unusual for surveys such as this one to be conducted when significant new products are being developed, but it remains unknown if Sony will implement any changes based on the feedback received.
It makes sense that, as a platform owner, Sony would be curious about what attracts their audience towards competitors’ offerings.
It’s well-known that Sony’s cloud-based handheld accessory, PS Portal, has achieved unexpected levels of success. There are whispers that along with the release of the PS6 home console, there will also be a portable companion device.
